How to Apply

Becoming a GCHSS Student

  • Applications will be available as soon as results are published. Applications are available online, through the school website: 
  • Students require their eID, school leaving certificate and exam results to apply.  
  • Foreign students and students who studied abroad should click here to view the necessary requirements and application procedure.
  • There are no fees involved to apply. 
  • Students not in possession of Mathematics, Maltese and English Language at SEC/O level (MQF Level 3) are kindly reminded that these subjects are still required for entry level at the University of Malta. 
  • All students who apply and meet the entry requirements will be enrolled. 
  • Students must hold a functioning email address and a bank account in their name (for maintenance grants purposes). 

The Application Process

  1. Your application is submitted online.

  2. Following submission, an automatic acknowledgement email/SMS is received.

  3. Once the application window closes, you will receive an email to confirm your intention to join GCHSS.  If you do not confirm your application, it is assumed that you have resigned/withdrawn your application.

  4. Following the confirmation of applications, GCHSS will begin to prepare the student timetables.

  5. You will receive your  timetable through email.  The timetable will eventually also be available on MySchool.
